The rise of artificial intelligence is redefining economies, institutions, and societies at an unprecedented pace. As these transformations accelerate, the need for open dialogue on technology’s impact has never been greater. Benoit Poletti, President of ICTLuxembourg encourages all the Luxembourg ecosystem to be a pioneer at the age of a world of new opportunities.
Earlier this year, ICTLuxembourg welcomed a diverse audience of technology professionals, public decision-makers, academics, and business leaders to the University of Luxembourg’s Belval Campus for an evening dedicated to exploring how Europe can navigate the opportunities and challenges presented by AI. The event, “Europe at the Crossroads of AI, Power & the Future of Democracy,” encouraged participants to reflect on the balance between innovation, influence, and democratic principles.
A Community United Around Common Challenges
One of the defining aspects of the evening was the diversity of voices present. Representatives from industry, government, research institutions, startups, and civil society contributed to a rich exchange of ideas.
These interactions reinforced the importance of collaboration in addressing complex digital challenges and demonstrated the strength of Luxembourg’s innovation ecosystem.
