Early this fall, in Bonnevoie, something special happened. The energy was electric, the ideas were flowing, and the connections were real. We were truly thrilled to witness such a fantastic turnout and vibrant atmosphere during our first Tech Squad event — a gathering that marked the beginning of a new chapter for Luxembourg’s startup and tech community.

A Brilliant Kickoff: “The Vibe Check – Uniting a Tech Squad for Startups”

The concept, brilliantly proposed and moderated by Arnaud Clément, was refreshingly simple yet powerful: connect founders and CTOs to foster smarter technology choices and smoother implementations for startups. In a world where tech decisions can make or break a young company, this initiative couldn’t be more timely.

Breaking the Ice with Arthur Junges

The evening began with Arthur Junges, founding CEO of SPEAR dev, a consulting boutique focused on simplifying B2B tools and driving digital transformation. Arthur set the tone with engaging facilitation, sparking meaningful conversations and encouraging participants to share their insights and challenges. His presence helped break the ice and build bridges between attendees.

Archive My Legacy: Preserving Memories with AI

Next up was Bertrand Jager, MBA, who took the stage to present Archive My Legacy, a startup with a deeply human mission: to preserve memories and stories through technology. Bertrand shared a poignant observation — “Until now, people are dying twice: first when they pass away and then later on when, finally, no one remembers the person.” His solution? Use AI to organize and digitalize billions of forgotten photos, giving families a way to reconnect with their heritage.

Favr: Micro-Help, Macro Impact

Then came Favr, a startup founded by Cláudio Gaspar, with a heartwarming and practical vision: create micro-help communities where people can confidently ask for small favors — like a ride, dog walking, or plant watering. The platform integrates identity verification, payments, and community-building features, offering a fresh take on trust and collaboration in everyday life.

EducateMe: Empowering Teachers and Students

The event concluded with a pitch from EducateMe, a startup that’s already proving its value. Founders Agata Fedorova and Alex Bykov showcased their platform designed to maximize focus and efficiency in classrooms, empowering both teachers and students. Their pitch was sharp, inspiring, and a perfect example of how tech can elevate education.

A Community in Motion

This first Tech Squad event was more than just a meetup — it was a statement. A statement that Luxembourg’s tech ecosystem is alive, collaborative, and ready to grow. With ICTLuxembourg proudly supporting the initiative, we’re building a space where people with a shared passion for technology can come together to transmit knowledge, solve problems, and foster professional growth.

Stay tuned for the next Tech Squad gathering — because when great minds unite, the possibilities are endless.
